[Buma Cultuur]

As managing director of Buma Cultuur, Frank Helmink is responsible for events and projects promoting Dutch music in The Netherlands and abroad. His company initiated the Amsterdam Dance Event (the most important and biggest showcase and seminar festival for electronic music) and Eurosonic Noorderslag, the largest European showcase and seminar event for live music. In the past Frank hosted a heavy metal radio show on national radio and was also program director for a nationwide music television station, which included "Wet & Wild," Holland's most popular metal show. He has also written for music magazines like OOR, Aardschok and Metal Hammer.
